Cycle routes and cycle hire

There are wonderful cycling routes in and around Zierikzee.

Whether you want to explore our beautiful island on your own bike or rent bikes, the possibilities are endless.

From Zierikzee, you can start at the harbour and cycle along the Oosterschelde outside the dike. If you are lucky, you can spot harbour porpoise at the Havenhoofd!

After about 10 km, you will arrive at the Heerenkeet restaurant (highly recommended for fish lovers). You can then continue on your way and pass the "Plompe Toren", an old church tower from the drowned village of Koudekerke, which can be climbed free of charge and which offers a truly magnificent view.

Bike rental

Bicycle storage

As a guest of Residence Zierikzee, you can also park your own bikes in the Mondragon car park. Unfortunately, space in the garage is limited (especially in the summer period).  To avoid disappointment, we advise you to This email address is being protected from spambots.
